Does praying make a difference?

If you don't pray
    you will never know.
If you don't pray,
    you don't expect anything different.

I woke this morning knowing
I can panic,
          or I can pray.
God changes my vision
   in profound and immeasurable ways.
God changes my heart.
God changes peopl's lives.

Is it a conflict before me,
an impossible day,
a rough and rocky trail
          or a landscape with a view?

When I pray,
       what do I see?
I see the Heavenly Father
          looking at me.

Your way was through the sea,
Your path through the great waters,
yet
     Your footprints were unseen.
