No ordinary night at work

And quite suddenly
God changes everything
                      forever.

And in that region
there were shepherds
         out in the field,
keeping watch over their flock
                       by night.
And an angel of the LORD
      appeared to them,
and the glory of the LORD
             shone around them,
and they were filled with fear.
And the angel said to them,
"Be not afraid,
for behold I bring you
       good news of great joy
which will come
             to all the people.
For unto you
is born this day
in the city of David a Savior
     who is Christ the Lord.

                    Luke 2. 8-11

It was the night before Christmas.
The world says,
Merry Christmas
and to all a good night.
But the angel had another song in mind:

And suddenly there was with the angel
a multitude of the heavenly host
praising God and saying,
"Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth
               peace,
                   good will among men."

                          Luke 2. 13-14

God's Christmas greeting
is not wishing a good night,
but the giving of new life
and peace with Him.

Glory to God in the Highest.

Merry Christmas, my friend.

Amen! God invaded this poor, poor planet with His Glory! Thank you so much for the new picture in my memory.
